The Company
Give the customer "what they want" - A HIGH QUIALITY RACING STRUT THAT WORKS.......
It was due to overwhelming requests for "high performance racing struts" that influenced Angelo Zarra to start ANZE Engineering and embark on developing its newest high performance product line,"ANZE Racing Struts".
Customers were looking for more options for their sedans instead of the street based products coming from Europe. Through a strategic alliance with Penske Racing Shocks, ANZE Engineering provides the customer with high performance struts that are damped by Penske Racing Shocks components. With an intimate knowledge of the racing venue, exceptional trackside engineering experience and high level design and manufacturing skills, ANZE chose to provide the customer with a high quality strut that is damped by the highest quality components.
After a successful racing season, Angelo decided to formally start ANZE Engineering in June 1998 to provide high-level race engineering services and engineered products. Since its inception, ANZE has been race engineering several highly competitive formula cars in proffesional and national competition. In addition, since 1994, ANZE Engineering has been contracted by SRP Engineering to assist in its exclusive arrangement with Penske Racing Shocks to service all SCCA competitors and provide key race engineering and technical support at the SCCA Runoffs
Angelo N. Zarra the Founder of ANZE Engineering

In the 1990s Angelo Zarra set out to pursue his passion for Race Engineering. While obtaining his engineering degree from Temple University, Angelo was elected the Student Chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers SAE). It was in this leadership role where Angelo was given the opportunity to oversee the complete engineering of a race car. He led his team of aspiring engineers through the design and manufacture of a Formula SAE vehicle, which competed in a race amongst other top Universities. This experience formed the foundation and core principles that now serve as the backbone for ANZE Engineering and it is where Angelo cemented his "Speed Engineering" desire. After he earned his engineering degree, Angelo honed his engineering talent in key positions with Automotive Tier One suppliers and Nuclear Medical manufacturers. Angelo also spent time learning and applying his race engineering skills by participating in NHRA Drag Racing and SCCA Road Racing. In these professional racing venues, Angelo learned to integrate his aptitude for high quality design and manufacturing with the racing world. He brings to the racetrack a high level of practical engineering knowledge and racing experience. This "total system integration"....
Shortly thereafter, Angelo was offered the opportunity to work exclusively with an up and coming young local road racer. By concentrating his efforts to one team, Angelo further refined his race engineering craft. During this time, Angelo embarked on a shock development program with the guidance of road racing guru Joe Stimola, owner of SRP Engineering, Ltd. By combining their race engineering experiences, in both theory and practical knowledge, Angelo and Joe realized the technological potential and importance of racing shocks to the overall handling of a competitive racecar. Many days, nights and weekends were spent running the shock dyno analyzing the different manufacturers, valving, pistons, forces and adjusters on a modern shock absorber.
"Suspension technology has really grown over the past 10 years," said Angelo N. Zarra, from ANZE Engineering, Locust Valley, New York. "The Old days of 'bolt on and go fast' are gone--that will get mostly get you to the middle of the pack. teams have realized that with more and more restrictions on top speed, horspower and/or aerodynamics, the last key area to exploit is how fast you can go around the corner, or how well your suspensionsetup works........
Research & Development

ANZE Engineering is a dynamic, growing company, focused on the development of new technologies that span a diverse set of applications. Our team is comprised of engineering, manufacturing and quality professionals dedicated to creating innovative solutions for racing envoirnments. The people at ANZE Engineering focus on the complete development process, from proof of concept to low volume manufacturing runs, designing advanced racing products which are easier to use, more accurate, and more functional than the products they are replacing. ANZE's technologies, and the products which incorporate these technologies, aremaking race cars even faster around the world.
